Burgers & Beers
Burgers & Beers: 2031-D Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, Florida 33305
The Restaurant:
Burgers & Beers has been open just over a year now on Wilton Drive. It’s in a great spot located which was previously an ice cream and gelato shop. The interior is very plain and nothing fancy like all of those other new burger joints opening up. To me this is a good thing as you are not paying for a pricey and fancy place to just sit and enjoy a good burger or hot dog. The place is not huge, but can seat about sixteen people comfortably. There are also some additional tables outside that you can also enjoy the lovely Florida weather.
I have been wanting to try Burgers & Beers for some time, and finally got the chance to with my friend Bob.
The Food:
Bob and I both decided to go with the Classic burger, but with different cheese on it. Bob chose pepperjack cheese and I chose American. There is also a list of other items that you can add to your burgers. One thing they make clear is that they do not add condiments to the burgers, that is 100% up to you.
Bob got his burger cooked medium, while I went with well done as I do with all meat. We both felt that the flavor of our burgers was very good. Even my well done burger was juicy and I can say it was cooked perfectly to my liking. Bob, said his was a little more like medium well instead of medium, but it was still juicy and full of flavor.
Burgers & Beers doesn’t have a huge selection of beers and only a couple on tap, but Bob enjoyed the pale ale that he had and I went with a more classic of Coke.
The french fries are hand cut and fresh, not frozen. Burgers & Beers adds a nice seasoning to them which enhances the flavor. I am a lover of a good fry, and this was one of my all time favorites. The garlic aioli that accompanies the classic burger is a great dip to use with your fries.
Pricing $-$$: Depending on what your order and drinks at Burger & Beers. We recommend this place as a great stop for a good burger, hot dog, or chicken sandwich.

[…] So, let’s talk about the food from the Food Truck Store. As mentioned before, the primary focus is hamburgers, but they also offer chicken sandwiches and tenders. You can choose from 12 standard burgers and 12 specialty hamburgers. The first time I went, I chose the San Bernardino, which is made up of two 4.2 oz patties topped with American cheese, chopped onion, ketchup & mustard. I asked for crisp bacon to be added. The burger was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. It was definitely one of my favorite bites and easily on par with my other local favorite Burgers and Beers. […]
