Harold Seltzer’s Steakhouse: 3500 Tyrone Blvd N, St Petersburg, FL

Mike and I decided we were hungry after a long night on the town in St. Petersburg, Florida. We both wanted to have a delicious steak and looked at several places that were all booked solid and had no open tables. Then we called Harold Seltzer’s Steakhouse, and they said they weren’t too busy and that we should stop on over. So we did.

The Restaurant:

Harold Seltzer’s is a chain of three restaurants in Tampa. This location has a decent-sized parking lot to accommodate the number of guests the restaurant can hold. There is a host desk as soon as you walk in through the front doors.

Appetizers:

To start my meal, we ordered lobster bisque and a house salad. The lobster bisque was rich and creamy, with chunks of tender lobster meat in every spoonful. The soup had a smooth and velvety texture, with a perfect balance of savory and sweet flavors. The house salad was equally impressive, with a variety of fresh greens, crunchy vegetables, and a tangy vinaigrette dressing.

Harold Seltzer’s Entrees:

For my main course, I ordered a 6oz filet Mignon with french fries. The steak was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful char on the outside and a juicy, tender center. Harold Seltzer’s did a fantastic job of making it well done while still being tender and flavorful. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly with a natural cut which I prefer. I probably could have just eaten a plate full of these fries as my meal.

Mike ordered a 12 oz rib-eye, with his side being the wild long-grain rice was fluffy and complemented the rib-eye well. The rib-eye was also cooked to perfection, with a mouthwatering smoky flavor that added depth to every bite. Perfectly aged, exquisitely tender, juicy & deservedly famous.

The service at Harold Seltzer’s Steakhouse was impeccable. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, always ensuring that our glasses were full and our plates were cleared promptly. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations on which dishes to try.

Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Harold Seltzer’s Steakhouse. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, with excellent food and exceptional service. If you’re looking for a down-to-earth steakhouse dining experience in St. Petersburg, this restaurant should be at the top of your list.
