Mission + Market: Three Alliance Center, 3550 Lenox Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30326

In the Buckhead area of Atlanta, there is one of my new favorite restaurants, Mission + Market. This fantastic restaurant is located in the Lenox office park. I was lucky enough to be in the ATL for a work trip, and one of my colleagues made a reservation for us to eat here. It was only a short walk from the office, and the weather was perfect.

The Restaurant:

Inside Mission + Market is a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. As you enter the restaurant, you will be greeted by the hostess station and a long bar serving fresh popcorn. There is a choice of tables and booth-style seating throughout the ample indoor space. Outdoors is just as big of an area, with chairs and tables.

We had some of the most amazing wait staff, and they made our evening extra special. The waiters and waitresses joked with us and gave us some great drink recommendations. There is a fun, hip vibe to the place, and the music they played created an ambiance that I wish we had here in South Florida.

Mission + Market Food:

Regarding the food at Mission + Market, I can not say enough good things about it. We did a sample of carious appetizers that I forgot to take photos of. We started with Yuzu Tempura Shrimp. I couldn’t get enough of this dish, and I am not a big seafood guy, as most of you know.

I went with the Filet Mignon, 8 ounces of perfectly seared steak, for my main dish. The red wine jus added an extra bit of flavor to this already delicious dish. They cooked it to the temperature that I love and had a nice char to the outside. For my side, I opted for freshly cut french fries. The sea salt and pepper gave the fries the perfect taste with a nice crunch to them.

My work colleague chose to go with the 12-ounce New York Strip steak. Again the meat was cooked perfectly with a nice set of grill marks. He had a smile on his face as each bite just melted away in his mouth. Those incredible fries were his side as well, and he could not have been happier with his choices.

There are many other unique choices to choose from on the menu, but you really can’t go wrong with what you desire. We both highly recommend checking it out the next time you are in the Atlanta area.
