Bayview Pizza & Grill has been a staple on East Oakland Park Blvd. for many years. Some people get this place confused with the restaurant next door called Bayview Diner. They are two completely separate and different owners and not related to one another.

As you drive by, there is not much to look at. This place is basically a whole-in-the-wall type pizza joint. There are always a few cars parked outside which are for the drivers that do delivery. You can do take-away or delivery, but just know that if you choose to do delivery, you will most likely be waiting at least 45 minutes. Bayview Pizza is very popular and can be busy at times which adds additional time.

The Restaurant:

While you can order Bayview Pizza & Grill from the delivery apps like Doordash, be aware that you won’t be able to track your order within the app. This is due to the fact that the restaurant has chosen to use its own drivers for your app orders.

Once inside to your right will be the counter to order your food. There are a couple of small tables inside and usually one or two outside. But hardly anyone actually eats inside. Bayview Pizza is mostly for takeaway and delivery orders. Keep in mind that they do not open before 4 pm, but they are open until 4 am for those late-night snacks.

The Menu:

Bayview Pizza’s menu is pretty big. Obviously, you have a selection of pizzas to choose from. There are options like the bacon cheeseburger pizza, meat lovers, Mexican pizza, Bayview Supreme, and many more. You could also build your own. You have a good amount of appetizers to choose from as well including things like mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, specialty french fries, nachos, and onion rings.

You can choose from a few different salads, calzones & strombolis, club sandwiches, hot & cold subs and sandwiches, wraps, burgers, pasta, dinners, and desserts.

Bayview Pizza & Grill Food:

Over the years I have had several different items from Bayview Pizza, but one thing I have yet to try is the pizza. So let’s dig into what I ordered. I usually like to get different things to last me for more than one meal when ordering delivery. First up was the grilled chicken Ceasar salad. The chicken was grilled to perfection and has a very good seasoning to it. I prefer to get ranch dressing or thousand island to go with the salad.

One of the subs I chose was to see how good Bayview Pizza could make a cheesesteak sandwich. I order mine with grilled onions, provolone cheese, and the rib-eye steak slices thinly. While it is not exactly as good as some others I have tried, this cheesesteak will do good when you are in a pinch. There is good flavor and it was something I enjoyed eating.

My favorite thing to order is the cheeseburger sub. Bayview Pizza and Grill is the only place that I have found that makes it. You have a couple of different sizes to choose from. The size is all about how many burger patties are used to make the sandwich though and not really about the size of the roll. The small is plenty for me and is made with two burger patties, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, mayo, mustard, and ketchup. I usually order it with just cheese, mayo, and lettuce.

Now the french fries are some of the best I have had. They are not too crisp and seasoned with old bay seasoning to give a bit of extra flavor. I will sometimes order an extra order or two just to heat up a day or two later.
