Seahorse Restaurant
Seahorse Restaurant: 800 Pass a Grille Way, Pass-a-Grille Beach, FL 33706
The Seahorse Restaurant has been around for a long time, since 1938. Mike wanted to show me around the St. Peterburg area of Florida and thought this would be the perfect start to our day before heading to the Salvadore Dali Museum.
The Restaurant:
The Seahorse itself is a single-level restaurant with views of the intercoastal waterway. There a several tables indoors under the air conditioning. Outside there are a few picnic tables where you can enjoy your meal at while breathing in the fresh Florida air.
You will be able to find a great meal at the Seahorse for breakfast and lunch every day, except for Tuesdays. The staff is extremely friendly and always seems to have a smile on their faces.
The Food:
Mike and I both opted for omelets to start our day. I chose to get the ham and cheese omelet with an English muffin. They put a little mushroom on top so the waitress could tell the difference between our meals. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and nice chucks of ham filled the inside. American cheese melted inside to create the perfect breakfast.
Mike chose the Western Omelet. Filled with peppers, onions, ham, and cheese. It was a perfectly filling breakfast, just like mine. He also had an English muffin as his bread. The eggs at the Seahorse are always cooked to perfection, and no matter what you order form the menu, you will go away with a full tummy and a smile on your face.
